Last week, the Supreme Court ruled that employers cannot discriminate against gay and transgender workers based on their gender or sexual orientation.

Now, we must call on the Senate to pass the Equality Act. When it comes to true equality for our LGBTQ community, we must not only enforce anti-discrimination protections in the workplace, but also in healthcare, housing, credit, education, and other public services.

While the House passed the Equality Act with bipartisan support in 2019, the Senate has yet to vote on the legislation. That's why Team Sánchez is calling on the Senate to pass the Equality Act. Can we count on you to show support by signing your name?

Fifty-one years after the Stonewall Riots, LGBTQ folks are still waiting to be legally protected from acts of discrimination. We think it's high time that changed.
