As summer wanes, we will gather this Wednesday for the next Local Peace Economy conversation and take stock of where we are as a community. All around us we can see that the structures built on the violence of the war economy are crumbling. How is the strength of your ARK and the muscles of peace you have been cultivating? How is your community supporting life and creativity as resistance to the war machine? How has your participation in the local peace economy given you hope and resilience in these challenging times at our door? Join us for this conversation as we gather to explore the new terrain, to know it is to not fear it but have a healthy relationship and clear next steps.

We explored together that slowing down and making ourselves available to "fugitive," slower  forms of engagement found in the Local Peace Economy is a path that serves the moment and the future.
