Meet our newly endorsed candidates!
Cynthia Lummis for U.S. Senate, WY
Cynthia Lummis for U.S. Senate, WY

Cynthia Lummis is Wyoming -- through and through. She’s tough, tested and true to the place her family has called home for four generations.

Born on a cattle ranch in Laramie County, Cynthia knows how to protect Wyoming values because she lives those values in her work and home life. From the halls of the Wyoming House to the halls of the U.S. House, Cynthia’s time in public service has always been focused on fighting for Wyoming’s future

First elected to the U.S. House in 2008, Cynthia quickly earned her reputation as a no-nonsense conservative and principled policymaker. She committed to the ‘No New Tax Pledge’ and garnered an ‘A+’ rating from the National Rifle Association and a 100% voting record with Right to Life. Her pro-Wyoming voting record earned her recognition as the legislator who opposed President Obama’s radical liberal agenda more often than any other federal elected official. Cynthia was a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus, a group consisting of the most unflinching conservative Members of the House of Representatives. She fought throughout her tenure in Congress to rein in spending and reduce the federal deficit, working with the bipartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and ultimately co-sponsoring several bipartisan budget proposals.

Victoria Spartz for IN-05
Victoria Spartz for IN-05

Victoria is a natural leader who has a proven track record in the business world, civic organizations and the public sector.

In many ways, she embodies the American Dream: born overseas, immigrating to the United States 20 years ago after meeting her husband, a born and raised Hoosier, on a train in Europe, becoming a US Citizen, and working her way up from bank teller to a CPA, finance executive and successful business owner.

She brought her fiscal conservative approach to the Indiana State Legislature, where she has gained a reputation as a limited government conservative Senator who isn’t afraid to tackle the tough issues and challenge the status quo. She’s fought to repeal needless regulations, reform health care, improve educational outcomes, audit elections, protect the Second Amendment and private property rights, and bring transparency and accountability to the state government.

Lynn Afendoulis for MI-03
Lynn Afendoulis for MI-03
Lynn Afendoulis is a successful businesswoman, a community leader, a first-time state representative, and a mom who has called West Michigan “home” all her life. She is running for Congress to protect the values that allowed her, a second-generation American, to pave her path in work and life, and to seek election to Congress.

Their legacy is Lynn’s conservative outlook on life: protect the American Dream for those who have come here legally, keep government out of their way, and help people achieve the dignity of independence.

Lynn is running for Congress because she believes we are fighting for the very fabric of who and what we are–the things that President Trump is fighting for and that attracted her grandparents to this country. She wants to protect the rule of law and represent the people of the 3rd District in a way that they’ve been yearning for – with integrity, engagement, and effectiveness. And to show her children that this is all worth fighting for.

Esther Joy King for IL-17
Esther Joy King for IL-17
Esther Joy King is a leader who has a heart to serve. She learned the value of serving from her parents who were missionaries on the US-Mexico border. Although her family did not have much, they were generous to those who were less fortunate. As Esther grew up, she learned the importance of helping people.

After earning a marketing degree in college, Esther spent time in Kabul, Afghanistan serving as an aid worker. Because of her experiences there, she became passionate about democracy and human rights.

Because of her desire to serve our great nation, Esther joined the U.S. Army Reserve as a member of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps. She was recently promoted to Captain and assigned to the Rock Island Arsenal. Today Esther is an entrepreneur and practices law in East Moline focusing on real estate for economic development. Esther understands the genuine struggles of making ends meet in the face of a dysfunctional government, which is a catalyst for why Esther wants to serve you in Congress.

The Hill's Campaign Report:
Congress and the States

Confidants of Vice President Mike Pence helped propel 24-year-old Madison Cawthorn to victory in the North Carolina primary to replace White House chief of staff Mark Meadows. The Hill’s Scott Wong reports ([link removed]) that it has created an awkward dynamic in the White House because Meadows and President Trump endorsed Cawthorn’s challenger.

They include Wyoming Senate candidate Cynthia Lummis, Indiana’s 5th District candidate Victoria Spartz, Michigan’s 3rd District candidate Lynn Afendoulis, and Illinois’s 17th District candidate Esther Joy King. “The energy from our grassroots network this cycle is palpable. We are excited to support our list of endorsed candidates and we look forward to helping them go on to win their elections in November,” Maggie’s List Chairwoman Sandra Mortham said in a statement.

The Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump GOP super PAC, endorsed former Montana Gov. Steve Bullock in his Senate race against incumbent Sen. Steve Daines on Wednesday. The group marked its endorsement with a new digital ad ([link removed]) , titled “Strong.” Julia + ([link removed]) .

Welcome our new Congressional Partners! Rep. Dave Joyce, OH-14
Rep. Dave Joyce, OH-14
A lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio, Dave Joyce has spent most of his life protecting his community. Dave spent more than 25 years as the prosecuting attorney of Geauga County helping to make the county one of the best places to raise a family.

As a father and husband, Dave understands that decisions made in Washington have an immediate impact on families, and shape the world we will leave to our children. Dave’s formative years were molded by watching his dad who instilled in Dave the importance of family and hard work. Using the GI Bill, his father, a WWII veteran and recipient of a purple heart, went to John Carroll and worked his way up from the shop floor to running his own business.

Dave has been a strong advocate in the fight against the opioid epidemic. As a former prosecutor, Dave saw firsthand what this epidemic is doing to our communities. He is working to convince Congress and the Administration, to treat this epidemic as the national emergency it is. He is also a leading voice for rebuilding our military and economic policies and regulatory reforms that target job growth.
