Team, it’s Senator Blunt Rochester. 

One of my biggest priorities in the Senate so far has been improving the availability of affordable housing. 

I’ve introduced three important bills that would expand the number of homes and rental properties available by increasing the amount banks can invest in affordable housing projects, helping local governments streamline the housing permitting process, and tasking HUD with creating improved zoning laws for local governments to adopt. 

I’m proud that these bills are moving forward under the bipartisan ROAD to Housing Act. This is a great step towards improving our housing crisis!
