At all levels of the federal government, polluter allies have been working to dismantle environmental protections. Hold them accountable today.

Dear Friend,
Since taking office this term, the Trump administration has issued a slate of orders attacking environmental issues, such as directives to increase logging for our forests, undermine protections for endangered species, illegally open up our oceans to offshore drilling, and fast-track fossil fuel projects by invoking a false “energy emergency” — all to the detriment of our environment. Now, federal agencies are trying to make Trump’s executive orders a reality by proposing to roll back bedrock environmental regulations.
As these executive orders turn into federal rulemakings, we need your advocacy more than ever. Take action now and tell elected officials and federal agencies they must side with the American people over billionaires and polluting industries. The policies our government is attacking are policies that you’ve helped us build.
Over this last month, Earthjustice supporters submitted over 150,000 comments urging our elected officials to protect our environment. You’ve spoken up for the Arctic, shared your opposition to opening the Powder River Basin up for new coal leasing, urged the U.S. Forest Service to keep the Roadless Rule intact, and defended a crucial air pollution rule. Thank you for your advocacy.
Together, we can defend the progress we’ve achieved.

Tell the EPA to not walk away from its responsibility on climate
Instead of finding ways to fight the climate crisis, the Trump administration is going against science to undermine a key finding that many U.S. climate policies rest on: that greenhouse gases are air pollutants that endanger public health by driving climate change. The federal government has a comment period open, and we need to show them that people support actions to reduce climate pollution.

Protect forests from massive expansion of logging
Our forests belong to us all, but the Trump administration wants to log them for corporate gain. Following up on promises to ramp up logging — including clear-cutting — across federal forests, the administration has announced plans to obliterate the Roadless Rule, a landmark land-conservation policy. We need you to defend the forest protections we have fought so hard for.

Save the birds and defend the Arctic
Every spring, birds from every corner of the globe make their way to Alaska’s Western Arctic, the largest tract of public land in the United States. They all converge on one of the most ecologically rich and remote nesting grounds in the world. But now, the Trump administration has proposed repealing key protections for this landscape to prioritize expanded oil and gas drilling.

Grizzly bears need your help
Since coming into office, the Trump administration has taken several actions that strip away critical protections for imperiled species, including the grizzly bear. We need your help to stop these actions and advocate for the latest conservation practices to ensure continued grizzly bear recovery.
