Be inspired, True Texans!
What a week! Can you believe all this? Check it out...
Our Tarrant activists spoke up and got the community college board to agree to NOT raise our taxes. Wha???
Our Beaumont and Bexar teams refused to back down to protestors. In fact, our Beaumont Director, Shiloh Platts, made the local news when a whopping FOUR protestors invaded in clown costumes. Yes, clown costumes. It left me wondering why they were making fun of... themselves? Well, I guess it IS easily done! 🤣 While the media thought they were giving TTP a negative spin, everything they said resonates with most Texans, and it was a clear win for True Texas Project!
We reached the 1/2-way mark on our current fundraising goal. Thank you!
Fran and I got rave reviews for the first of 4 events on our "donor tour" we're hosting.
We released a few more candidate endorsements, and we started our candidate interviews for our podcast.
We booked the guest of honor for next year's gala. (Not telling who it is yet, but save the date -- April 18, 2026!)
Two of our Cross Timbers leadership team members signed up to run for school board. We've got several other True Texans already announced.
We had standing room only for classes on how to handle a hand gun and how to vet candidates.
Attendance numbers at our meetings are up across the board.
It's a great time to be a True Texan! Have I mentioned how much I love working with y'all???
Progress Have you helped out yet? We're halfway there! Turn Up The Texas Heat! Use the QR code in the graphic below so that it's flagged to apply to the challenge.
