Three years ago today, Pat burst onto the national political scene with an upset victory in the special election to represent the Hudson Valley in Congress.

Many counted him out. Some wrote off the district as a GOP win before votes were even cast. But our grassroots movement worked hard, and it paid off.

Then, just a few weeks later, we did it again, winning the general election in November to elect Pat to a full term in Congress. And in 2024, we won a resounding victory—defeating our GOP opponent by 15 points while overperforming the top of the ticket by 4.

Needless to say, the road since has been challenging. Trump’s attacks on our health care, rights, and freedoms have been a deep betrayal of all Americans. While Pat is doing everything he can to make costs lower and life better for everyone in the Hudson Valley, we have to spend a lot of our energy just fighting Trump. It hasn’t been easy.

And yet, he’s still been able to get things done. He’s passed a bipartisan bill expanding housing opportunities for veterans, and he’s been a tireless advocate for economic opportunity, transit, the environment, and fundamental freedoms in the Hudson Valley.

The journey ahead of us will be challenging as we call out the Big Ugly Betrayal and chart a course to rebuild the Democratic Party. But Pat and the whole team are grateful to have you by our side during this fight. Grassroots supporters like you make all the difference!
