He’s abusing emergency Presidential tariff powers to try and muscle foreign countries into conforming to his personal policy agenda.
And now, after slashing health care and food assistance for millions of Americans with his Big, Ugly Tax Scam, Trump is building a $200 million White House BALLROOM? It’s utterly ridiculous — and demonstrates just how much we need Congressional oversight to keep the federal government in line.
But with the Republican majority in Congress fully content to sit back and let Donald Trump trample the rule of law, Democrats’ power to conduct meaningful oversight on the federal government is severely limited.
That means we’ll need to take back the House in 2026 to provide a real check on the White House. And that starts with holding must-win districts like OR-06.
