Just last week, he used his office to bring visibility to the case of an elementary school student who was escorted to school by ICE—after they abducted her father and uncle on their morning commute together.
MoveOn staffer and past candidate Erica Mauter followed up that story to share that even though she didn’t win her city council race eight years ago, people still approach her to this day to share that they voted for her and the vision she set out for Minneapolis.
