Texas has been betrayed by our statewide elected politicians. Instead of defending Texas, every single Republican holding statewide office kowtowed to Donald Trump:
Greg Abbott called the special session to rig our maps at Trump’s direction
Ken Paxton tried to expel Democrats who broke quorum from their seats
John Cornyn called on the FBI to track down Democrats who broke quorum
Dan Patrick led the Senate in passing the rigged maps
Ted Cruz called for eliminating all Democratic seats in Texas
Once again, Texans have been failed by our corrupt statewide leaders who would rather follow orders from Donald Trump than stand up for Texans and democracy.
They’re cowards, plain and simple.
Each and every one deserves to lose their seats in their next election. But if we want to defeat them and restore honest leadership in Texas – we need to start right now.
