groundbreaking report uncovering the link between child sextortion and forced scamming in Southeast Asia, revealing how organized criminal networks are exploiting children at scale. We’re grateful for the survivors who helped shape the research and recommendations. Please pray for swift rescue and healing for victims, and for fruitful follow-ups that lead to increased funding and deeper collaboration with governments and tech companies to fight these crimes.
Africa & Europe
Praise God for the powerful, survivor-led movement in Ghana that has already prevented 43 children from being trafficked and mobilized over 1,000 community leaders to protect those who are vulnerable. We thank Him for the courage of Global Survivor Network (GSN) leaders who are hosting trainings, shaping policy and sparking change in communities once silenced by fear. Please pray for continued momentum, deeper impact and lasting transformation as GSN Ghana enters its second year of this life-saving campaign.
Latin America
Pray that the upcoming elections in Honduras will result in the appointment of leaders who care for the wellbeing of the Honduran people. As the election approaches, there has been tension within public institutions, which has resulted in the delay of some key IJM initiatives. These efforts are crucial to advance our collaborative efforts in the country. Pray for a peaceful atmosphere during this time and that God will grant us wisdom to facilitate progress in the protection of women and children in the country.
South Asia
Praise God for several new survivor network chapters launched in South Asia over the last few months. We have been so excited to see survivors of trafficking banding together to support one another and create advocacy goals to make their voices heard! Pray for unity for their new leaders, confidence to pursue their goals, and warm reception from government stakeholders who they’ll meet. Pray these survivors would be encouraged and respected as they share their vision for ending trafficking in our lifetime.
