John, I’ll be honest:

We’re in the middle of a slog. It’s not an easy time for this country.

As Donald Trump and Republican extremists ramp up their attacks on our democracy and economy, it’s easy to want to just tune out.

Our fundraising numbers are down across the board, and it seems like fewer and fewer people want to hear about how to defend and protect our great nation.

But the reality is: Now is when we need you the most.

This party—and my campaign—are fueled by grassroots donations. That means we turn to people like you when we need to take action, not billionaires or corporations.

So it’s up to us to create the change we want to see, and that starts here. Right here. Right now.
