The Trump administration’s EPA announced plans to reconsider the Obama-era “Endangerment Finding” — the basis of the radical left’s climate control agenda. That 2009 ruling falsely declared carbon dioxide, a natural byproduct of human respiration and economic activity, an immediate and existential public health threat. It paved the way for nearly two decades of government overreach, crushing regulations for American businesses and skyrocketing energy costs for families — and it was never true.

Now, President Trump is putting an end to this madness and unleashing American energy.

By revisiting the Endangerment Finding, the EPA is taking the first step toward dismantling the climate-industrial complex and restoring energy independence. This move will also strip the legal authority behind the left’s “Green New Scam” — including the mandates crushing our farmers, shutting down oil and gas, and coercing citizens into expensive electric vehicles.

In addition to rescinding the Endangerment Finding, this proposed rule would also remove all existing regulations that require new motor vehicles to comply with emissions standards. This will make cars more affordable, allow families to make more summer road trips, and hamper the Chinese Communist Party’s influence.

The gender industrial complex has made billions off the sterilization of our children by marketing irreversible “gender-affirming care” to vulnerable kids. This tragedy is more than a political issue, it’s a moral one too. Yet, the so-called “experts” have turned a blind eye to the countless cases of long term harm these “treatments” cause.

Thankfully, sensible leadership has returned to Washington and the radical gender ideologues are no longer in control.

The Trump administration has initiated an inquiry into those profiting off the exploitation of our children. President Trump’s Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is examining whether parents and the public were misled about the nature, risks, and permanence of so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors. This marks the first significant federal step toward scrutinizing practices that have, for years, been shielded by claims of “scientific consensus.”

For over a decade, pharmaceutical companies, medical institutions, and trans-activist groups have promoted puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and “gender transition” surgeries as necessary, even “life-saving,” treatments for confused children. These procedures were often described as reversible, safe, and supported by evidence. This was a perverse lie and the supposed “experts” within the government did nothing.

The FTC’s inquiry is designed to review whether the gender industry deliberately downplayed these risks and exaggerated the benefits of the experimental nature of these “treatments.” In particular, it is examining whether emotionally charged language, such as claims that not pursuing medical intervention leads to suicide, was used to pressure parents into consenting to procedures without fully understanding the consequences.

President Trump’s FTC needs Americans like you to show support for exposing the truth about so-called “gender-affirming care” by submitting a comment on their request for information.

  9. Makes Education Work for Students and Taxpayers: These reforms to higher education ensure better outcomes for all students and the responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.

This week Congressman Chip Roy (R-Texas) introduced Heritage Action-backed legislation that strips sanctuary jurisdictions of federal funding. This is a long overdue step towards reining in left-wing mayors and we are proud to support it.

Sanctuary jurisdictions pose an immediate danger to our communities whether you live in one or not. Just recently we saw an illegal immigrant’s reckless driving cause a car crash that left several innocent people dead. This tragedy was entirely preventable too — because of California’s non-existent immigration laws he was able to legally obtain a Commercial Driver’s License despite not being able to read basic traffic signs. Sanctuary cities refusal to enforce immigration laws put America’s cities equally at risk.

Eliminating sanctuary cities should be a top priority for Congress, and you can rest assured knowing that Heritage Action will continue fighting for it.

Congress will have their work cut out for them when they return on September 2nd. Here’s the rundown:

Appropriations

Government funding runs out on September 30th and once again Congress is staring down the barrel of another Continuing Resolution (CR). The question now becomes how long of a CR, and what concessions the Democrats will demand. Stay tuned for more.

CBDCs

House conservatives appear to have scored a victory for financial liberty — if Leadership holds true to their word. Prior to leaving for August recess, the House passed the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act, but it faces an uphill battle in the Senate. That’s why House conservatives withheld their support for other crypto bills to secure guarantees that a ban on Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) will be included in the must-pass National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which is scheduled to come to the floor in a matter of weeks.

Nominees

The Senate left town with well over 100 nominees awaiting confirmation, much to the chagrin of conservatives. Yet, they also blocked the Trump administration from doing “recess appointments” by using a loophole that allows Congress to stay in session without adjourning.

It’s no secret that many of our institutions are dominated by the Left. While this is a problem more broadly, President Trump is taking action to counter it wherever possible, and the Left are losing their minds. The latest example is his administration’s review of hyper-partisan exhibits at the Smithsonian museums. Museums across the country serve to educate us about the past, the present, and the future — not politics. Yet, the partisan breakdown is staggeringly in the Left’s favor.

  • Museum Directors: 89 Democrats for every 11 Republicans

  • Museum Curators: 94 Democrats for every 6 Republicans

  • Art Conservators: 100% Democrats

  • Art Historians: 96 Democrats for every four Republicans

  • Art Administrators: 96 Democrats for every four Republicans

  • Art Advisors: 91 Democrats for every nine Republicans

  • Archaeologists: 94 Democrats for every six Republicans

  • Historians: 88 Democrats for every 12 Republicans

According to the Left, only the “experts” should be trusted to interpret what belongs in museums. As we’ve seen repeatedly, many of these so-called experts are more interested in political agendas than the truth. This is a long-overdue review.
