SPREAD THE NEWS: America First Legal Announces Opportunity for Americans to Strengthen Election Integrity by Supporting Proof of Citizenship to Vote

America First Legal has announced that the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) is now accepting public comments on AFL’s petition to require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship (DPOC) when using the federal voter registration form. The current form only requires applicants to affirm their citizenship by checking a box. AFL argues this "honor system" is insufficient and undermines election security.

The deadline to submit comments is Monday, October 20, 2025. AFL encourages all Americans to support this measure as a way to ensure secure and trustworthy federal elections. The petition claims that even isolated incidents of noncitizen registration can erode public confidence, and that DPOC would provide consistency with other areas requiring proof of citizenship, such as obtaining a passport or driver’s license.

This public comment period marks an important step in the rulemaking process and allows individuals, states, and organizations to voice their views on election integrity.

America First Legal Launches Investigation Into Biden-Era Organ Transplant Policy

AFL has launched an investigation into the outside influence on the Biden Administration’s Increasing Organ Transplant Access (IOTA) Model, filing FOIA requests with key health agencies to uncover communications and documents involving third-party involvement. AFL raises concerns that nonprofits, for-profit contractors, and Organ Procurement Organizations—some recently implicated in ethical violations—may have shaped the IOTA Model in ways that compromise patient safety and fairness. AFL aims to ensure transparency and accountability in the policy’s development.

America First Legal to Defend Loudoun County Students Punished for Speaking Out Against Locker Room Policy

AFL, in partnership with the Founding Freedoms Law Center (FFLC), announced legal action to defend Loudoun County students who were disciplined for objecting to a biological female entering the boys’ locker room. At a press conference, the groups condemned Loudoun County Public Schools for constitutional violations and pledged to protect students’ rights and academic records. 

America First Legal to Ohio Advisory Committee: Remove the American Bar Association from the Law School Accreditation Process in Ohio

AFL is urging the Ohio Supreme Court to remove the American Bar Association (ABA) as an accrediting authority for Ohio law schools. The ABA mandates discriminatory DEI policies as a condition for law school accreditation — disqualifying itself as an accrediting authority.

America First Legal Slams Northern Virginia School Districts for Defying Federal Directives and Continuing Illegal “Gender Identity” Policies

Five Northern Virginia school districts are blatantly defying a federal order to end illegal “gender identity” policies, letting boys into girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms. They chose radical ideology over federal law. Now, they face the consequences.
