Email from Republican Party of Arkansas Catch up on key updates, insights, and news from the RPA team August 22th, 2025 Chairman's Corner: A Note from Chairman Wood This month, I had the privilege of joining fellow Republican leaders from across the country in Atlanta for the RNC Summer Meeting. These gatherings are always energizing, but this one was especially exciting as we came together to share ideas, discuss strategy, and focus on what it will take to win elections up and down the ballot. Vice President Vance also joined us and thanked the State Party Chairs, National Committeemen, and National Committeewomen for their focus and leadership in helping him and President Trump secure victory. He spoke about the importance of the Big Beautiful Bill, the upcoming midterms, and the work ahead to ensure Republican wins. We also elected a new RNC Chairman, Joe Gruter, and expressed gratitude to outgoing RNC Chairman Michael Whatley for his service. Chairman Whatley will now be running for the U.S. Senate in North Carolina. Here at home, Arkansas Democrats recently elected a new chairman. But while the name at the top may have changed, the playbook hasn’t. Their party continues to double down on the same failed policies and out-of-touch ideas that Arkansans have rejected time and again. Leadership titles don’t change the reality: Democrats offer no real solutions for our state, and voters know it. RPA Chairman Joseph K.Wood – Chairman Joseph K.
