Friends,

Right now, sick and injured children from Gaza, including those with
cancer and war wounds, are being denied entry to the United States for
urgent medical treatment.

On August 16, without warning or explanation, the State Department
suspended a humanitarian visa program that has saved the lives of over
4,000 Palestinians since October 7. 

This decision includes children. Children who are suffering. Children who
may not survive without care.

This is not just a policy change. It’s a moral failure.

There is no legitimate security justification. This isn’t something
Israeli officials asked for. It’s not something the American Jewish
community asked for. It’s a searing violation of our Jewish values. 

Disturbingly, this decision came just one day after far-right provocateur
Laura Loomer publicly called on the government to shut down this visa
program, declaring gravely wounded children to be “national security
threats” without a shred of evidence.

We cannot allow extremists to drive American policy. And as Jewish and
pro-Israel Americans, we cannot be silent when our government shuts the
door on children who need help.

Friend, we
need your voice. A letter led by Representatives Debbie Dingell and Kim
Schrier is now circulating in the House calling on the State Department to
reverse this decision.

As Jewish and pro-Israel Americans, we’re obligated to protect the
vulnerable, uphold human dignity and protect the sanctity of life. 

Denying medical care to children in need is not strength. It’s not
security. It’s cruel – and it must be stopped.
