A mother holds her baby in Gaza.

We’ve seen the devastating effects of hunger on women and girls in Gaza for nearly two years. We knew this moment could come, but now it’s official:

There is famine in Gaza.

When hunger strikes, women and girls eat last and least. Pregnant women are more likely to suffer life-threatening complications. Violence against women skyrockets.

For the past 22 months, we have been delivering lifesaving care to women, girls, and families in Gaza, including nutritional supplements for pregnant and breastfeeding women, essential maternal health services, and support for survivors of violence.

But now, women and girls in Gaza are at a breaking point and they urgently need relief.

Will you rush an emergency gift to deliver lifesaving care to pregnant women, new moms, and newborns in Gaza and wherever help is needed most?

We will keep you updated as this crisis develops.

We condemn the violence in Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, and hope for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire, the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas, and an end to the violence. The suffering must end and peace must prevail.

Thank you for being there,
