Dear Jack,
The California Supreme Court ruled against California Republicans—shocking, I know—blocking an injunction request to temporarily stop the legislature’s gerrymandering scheme from being placed on the ballot.
State law is crystal clear: lawmakers must wait 30 days before passing newly introduced legislation. Yet Democrats continue to bulldoze over laws, rules, and even citizens commissions in pursuit of their power grab to Gavinmander California.

Radical judicial activism is nothing new for the California Supreme Court. The left would rather rely on the verdict of unelected judges than the verdict of voters. But let’s not forget: Californians voted 61%–39% to establish the Citizens Redistricting Commission in 2010—and polling shows they still support it today by a 2-to-1 margin.
We cannot let Newsom and his radical Democratic allies silence the voice of voters.
Let me be clear—this fight will decide whether Republicans keep control of the U.S. House. Everything we’ve accomplished since President Trump took office is on the line.
