Since Donald Trump returned to the White House, his administration has flouted countless laws and norms, acting as though they are above the law at every turn. They’ve fired independent monitors who oversee public agencies and hold them accountable. They’ve fired nonpartisan public servants unlawfully. And again and again they’ve infringed on our fundamental rights enumerated in the Constitution.

It’s putting our institutions — and our public servants — to the test.

Some have responded by seeking compromise, or outright placating to the President’s demands and illegal actions. Not me.

When you are up against a lawless bully, they don’t back down when people coddle them or try to cozy up to them, but only when people stand up to them and say “no”.

So when President Trump violates the Constitution to attack your rights, I don’t seek common ground or make nice. I take action, and sue in court to block his unlawful schemes.

So far, we’ve taken the Trump administration to court 35 times to defend Coloradans’ rights and freedoms, securing injunctions to halt many of the President’s most harmful executive orders in their tracks.

We know that the attacks on Colorado, its people, and our rights aren't going to stop anytime soon. That’s why Colorado needs a Governor who has experience taking on Trump — and winning.
