From June 7 to July 24, 2025, 1,380 casualties were treated at MSF’s Al-Mawasi and Al-Attar clinics in southern Gaza, near GHF-run distribution sites. In that short time, MSF teams cared for 71 children with gunshot wounds, 25 of whom were under the age of 15. An early review of the gunshot wounds strongly suggests that people near the distribution sites were purposely targeted.
GHF sites are just furthering Israeli authorities’ objectives and their ongoing genocidal campaign. These sites would not be needed if Israel ended its siege and let in aid trucks that are sitting just on the other side of the borders.
MSF calls for the immediate end of the GHF project, the restoration of the United Nations-coordinated aid delivery mechanism, and for the end of all financial and political support for the GHF. Israeli forces must end the siege on Gaza so that people can access food and other lifesaving humanitarian aid.
We continue to be guided by one goal: To provide emergency medical humanitarian care where it’s needed most. Learn more about our work in Gaza.
