We can’t overstate the danger to wildlife at this moment. Here are just a handful of administration attacks on wildlife in the past 6 weeks alone:
May 15th – Greenlit mass poisoning of prairie dogs in Thunder Basin National Grassland, abandoning hope for recovery for the endangered black-footed ferret.
May 20th – Trump officials open the door to barbaric and inhumane killing of wolves, bears and other wildlife in federal parks and preserves in Alaska.
June 4th – Trump signs an executive order virtually nullifying the National Environmental Policy Act and Endangered Species Act protections related to numerous federal projects.
June 5th – Pressed ahead with a reinterpretation of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act that effectively lets miners, utilities and other businesses kill migrating birds with impunity.
June 5th – Opened a protected Atlantic Ocean habitat to commercial fishing. Sea turtles, dolphins and other marine wildlife are now in mortal danger.
And they’re not stopping on their own. We need your help to defend threatened and endangered species from disappearing under these deadly attacks!
I know you care. And that’s why I’m turning to you to step up with an emergency donation to meet this critical challenge now, when the animals we love need us most.
Together we can weather this storm and leave our children a planet filled with wildlife – a planet like the one we inherited.
