It’s official: the Texas House has approved their gerrymandered maps at the direction of Donald Trump.
Greg Abbott, Ken Paxton, and the Texas Republicans who pushed this power grab should be ashamed – but they’re not. They’re happy to do Trump’s bidding, even if it means hurting Texans.
We MUST ensure they pay the political price – I’ll tell you how in a second. But first, can you chip in $10, $20 or whatever you can to help us hold them accountable at the ballot box?
Friend, Texas Democrats put Trump’s plan to rig the midterms front-and-center for the American people – and gave other states time to prepare to fight back.
And Texans will continue to lead the charge against this assault on our democracy.
Last night I joined some of Texas’s top political leaders – Beto O’Rourke, Jasmine Crockett, Veronica Escobar – and dozens of fired up Texans at a rally in El Paso to talk about how we fight back.
And I have to say: Texans are pissed off—and ready to hold our corrupt leaders accountable.
