* Main Street: A new ADA-compliant ramp and two additional accessible parking stalls will be installed to enhance accessibility.
* Harrison Street parking lot: The parking lot will be resurfaced, and sidewalks and crossings will be upgraded to meet ADA standards.

Please expect parking interruptions and increased traffic in these areas during construction. We appreciate your patience as we work to make downtown more accessible for everyone!

Back to School Safety from OPD

Badge Logo

School’s back in session, and we're asking everyone to help keep our kids safe out there!

Drivers:

* Slow it down in school zones.
* Watch for kids crossing the street or getting on/off buses.
* Never pass a school bus with flashing red lights, it’s dangerous and illegal.

Parents & Students:

* Use crosswalks and look both ways.
* Walk on sidewalks and stay alert, put the phones away!
* If you bike or ride, wear your helmet and follow the rules.

Bus Riders:

* Be at the stop a few minutes early.
* Wait your turn and stay back from the curb.
* Stay seated and listen to your driver and aides, they’re there to keep you safe.

Let’s all do our part to make this school year a safe one!
