All through the first Trump administration, we fought and defeated climate denying cabinet members like Scott Pruit, Ryan Zinke, and others because they were corrupt and using the powers of their office to harm Americans. Without the Endangerment Finding, car makers are free to make vehicles that pollute; utilities can force you to pay more for dirtier electricity; and federal agencies can’t do a thing to stop pollution from agriculture, factories or anything else.
This will put us all at even greater risk of floods, fires, and deadly storms. It will set climate action back by more than a decade and make America even more of an international pariah state — a corrupt fascist dictatorship controlled by fossil fuels, like Russia — while the rest of the world blossoms into renewable powered democracy.
It's reckless. It's climate denial. And it's deadly.
The EPA is required to take public comments on this proposed repeal, and they recently extended the deadline until September 22 – right after our massive March to Make Billionaires pay, and right at the start of the United Nations' Climate Week and General Assembly in New York.
We can't let Trump and his fossil fueled fascist regime overrule science and law without speaking out. The climate crisis is accelerating, and this repeal will take us backward at the worst possible time. Submit your public comment now and help protect every major U.S. climate safeguard from being dismantled.
Thanks for all you do,

PS - the only 'field hearing' on this proposed rollback is happening this week online. I'm scheduled to testify tomorrow, and while only those who RSVPd in advance are allowed into the zoom meeting, you can follow along with the (overwhelmingly opposed) comments from citizens, lawyers, scientists and other experts through the excellent Blue Sky feed of EOS, the journal of the American Geophysical Union.
