CLASP submitted a public comment in opposition to the harmful new interpretation the Department of Health and Human Services is taking regarding the definition of a “Federal public benefit” under the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act. This would restrict immigrant access to critical programs that support basic needs.
