We’ve made so much progress to end experiments on animals—but there’s still so much work to be done!

Friend,

Public pressure makes policy change possible. With your help, we’ve pushed the National Institutes of Health, the Food and Drug Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency to commit to phasing out cruel and outdated animal testing. These federal commitments to animals are an incredible opportunity for a future without animal testing and you have the power to hold these agencies accountable to their promises.

But there’s more work to be done to achieve this historic change. Will you help Humane World Action Fund, formerly Humane Society Legislative Fund, keep up the momentum and continue to secure lifesaving change for animals in laboratories by making a donation of $10 or more today? Every dollar helps advance our work to protect all animals from harm and end animal cruelty.

Decades of relentless effort has led to this point, friend. That’s why it’s so crucial to keep pushing now when we see real signs of progress! Here’s a quick look at our journey so far:

  • We backed transformative legislation like the Health Research Extension Act, the NIH Revitalization Act and the ICCVAM Authorization Act to replace the use of animals in research and testing over the longer term.
  • We led the campaign to reform the Toxic Substances Control Act, making it the first federal statute to call for an end to new animal testing. Our research helped to kickstart crucial programs to develop and expand humane, non-animal testing options.
  • We lobbied and petitioned to pressure the NIH, FDA and EPA to adopt reforms that could protect animals—and people—by adopting more humane, effective and modern testing

We’re unwavering in our commitment to ending animal cruelty, friend—and we’re backed by the latest scientific discoveries that show non-animal alternatives are more accurate and predictive than animal experiments. Now we need your help to continue this fight and secure the lifesaving reforms that suffering animals desperately need. Please, donate now to help keep the pressure on the NIH, FDA and EPA to end outdated animal testing and help to advance all our work to protect animals.
