John,
As students across the country return to the classroom, many are going to
schools in districts run by far-right extremists. Backed by dark money,
these school board members are pushing dangerous policies: erasing the
identities of LGBTQ+ students, banning books, and whitewashing the history
our kids learn.
It’s part of a nationwide effort to turn our public schools into culture
war battlegrounds — and our children are paying the price.
As the school year gets underway, we’re committed to electing progressive
school board members who will protect all students and build inclusive
learning spaces rooted in truth and equity.
The School Board Project is making this a reality, providing tools and
resources, and hands-on guidance that progressive candidates need to run
and win. [ [link removed] ]Can you chip in today to power their work?

At a moment where radical school board majorities are threatening the
learning of students everywhere, we’re fighting back by building
grassroots progressive power. Together, we can ensure our kids learn
honest history, LGBTQ+ youth can be seen and respected, and we can
guarantee that students from all backgrounds can excel.
But we can't do it without you.
We know these races often don’t get the attention or funding they deserve,
and that’s exactly why The School Board Project’s work is vital.
In 2023, 59% of their endorsed candidates won their races, winning 37
school board seats and flipping control of 5 school boards. We want to
help expand their winning record. Will you join us,
John?
With the far-right already organizing for the next wave of school board
elections, we can’t afford to fall behind. [ [link removed] ]So before the bell rings,
can you pitch in $5 or anything you can spare to ensure our
students can thrive in schools across the country?

Thank you for standing with those working to make our schools work for
everyone.
