Last night, the Texas House of Representatives passed the maps Donald Trump asked for. Trump said he was entitled to five seats, and Greg Abbott delivered.

Pathetic.

I've long supported independent redistricting, but we can't just sit there and act holier than thou while we watch our democracy be totally degraded.

I've heard the calls to "Do Something!" And I agree.

So later today, the California legislature will call a special election on November 4th to pass the Election Rigging Response Act.

California will redraw our maps and neutralize what Texas has done to try to rig the 2026 elections before even one vote is cast. And God help us if we're not successful. We may have enjoyed our last free and fair election.

But all of us will have a role to play in passing these maps. I can't do this alone. So what I am hoping for is an absolutely enormous number of individual donations today to help us get it done.

The amount isn't nearly as important as the donation itself. What matters is everyone who can standing up to Trump and for the rule of law. So please:
