Friend,

I'd like to share a personal message with you today about my

**why**.

Ultimately, putting oneself through a grueling campaign for federal office is no walk in the park, so the reason for doing it should be a good one.

For me, win or lose, I strive to help be the hands and feet of Christ, on a mission to ensure America remains that city on a hill.

That means using my voice (and with your help –

**my vote**), to

**stand up and speak for truth** at a time when too many have been turning their back on it.

Just think about where we've been the last few years...

**God-given talent, merit and hard work were being replaced by immutable characteristics like race and sex as the keys to advancement in America.**

➡️

**Biblical and biological truth, which recognize that men and boys and different than women and girls, were being replaced by left-wing, "trans" insanity.**

➡️

**From the border to President Biden's cognitive decline, we were told to accept blatant lies instead of the obvious truth before our eyes.**

**Finally, because of the commitment of patriots like you, America is back –

**and I want to ensure that this is not just a fleeting moment.****

America is not just some random country, and we didn't come about by accident. The hand of Providence has been with us from the start,

**because our mission is a moral one.**

That is the conviction I will bring to the U.S. Senate if I'm blessed with the opportunity to fight alongside President Trump. If you share that vision, then I ask for your ongoing and generous support as we approach the end of August. [link removed]

My wife Makenze and I have two boys, Theodore and Bennett.

As many of you with kids know, it is fun to watch them start to process and understand the world around them. In many ways you start to live vicariously through them. 

Almost nightly, Makenze and I pray that one day they will accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. As their parents, we see it as our responsibility to plant that seed and pray it grows into a full-fledged relationship.

**And as part of that responsibility, we want them to grow up in an America free from the backwards and oppressive thinking of the Left. **

That doesn't mean embarking on some grand, new revolution. 

Our Founding Fathers showed us the path, we just need to recommit to following it. America isn't perfect, but our mission is, and it is an honor to stand with you as together we strive to fulfill it.
