If you’ve been waiting for the right time to take action, this is it. Let us explain:

You may have seen that Trump and his allies are moving forward with their plans to rig the 2026 election in their favor.

In Texas, Republicans are moving ahead with a new gerrymandered map to give themselves FIVE congressional seats.

We can’t just sit by and do nothing in response. So in California, Governor Gavin Newsom is calling for a special election to redraw the state’s maps and defend fair representation, countering Republicans’ gerrymandering in Texas.

In California, voters will get to weigh in on the new maps — which means we’ve got a tough fight ahead of us. With so much on the line, Republicans are undoubtedly going to throw everything they have at preventing this ballot measure from passing.

Democrats need your help to fight back.
