Tonight’s report will begin with
excerpts from the Kim Iversen Show interview with Helga
Zepp-LaRouche yesterday,
which comments take up the breakthrough Alaska summit last Friday,
August 15, between US and Russian presidents Trump and Putin. Helga
elaborates how a convening of world leaders–Trump included–at the
upcoming September 3 commemorations in Beijing to mark the 80th
anniversary of the end of World War II–as called for in the Schiller
Institute petition “Urgent Appeal to Presidents Xi Jinping, Donald
Trump and Vladimir Putin!”–would be a continuation of that improvement
in relations, and would send the strongest message possible that we
are reaching a new era in cooperation. Other highlights:
- We share
some photos from street organizing over the weekend in France and in
Texas, USA.
-
We watch excerpts from a wonderful
Diane Sare Friday night Symposium with Richie Freeman, The Bering Strait Tunnel Will Change the
World, where Freeman
fleshed out our Bering Strait development proposal.
-
Kynan Thislethwaite describes a recent
screening of the film 8:15 Hiroshima | From Father to
Daughter.
- Several
media coverages of the LaRouche movement are covered, including
LaRouche spokesman Harley Schlanger’s latest X-22
appearance.
Looking forward to seeing you
tonight!
