➤➤ BREAKING: Trump leans on Putin to justify banning mail-in ballots

This is appalling, John.

This past weekend at the Alaska summit, Donald Trump stood beside Vladimir Putin and echoed his claim that mail-in voting makes elections “dishonest.” He even suggested that he agrees with Putin, and pushed a false claim that “no country has mail-in voting”.

Let us say this clearly: mail-in voting is safe, reliable, and used by Americans across the political spectrum. Trump’s claims aren’t backed by evidence, they’re just parroting Putin’s aim to destabilize our democratic norms.

This is exactly the kind of daylight Putin craves: sowing confusion, feigning legitimacy, and emboldening undemocratic tactics at home.
