John, donors are a driving force behind a remarkable movement. A movement that puts children first. A movement that prioritizes kids’ well-being – helping them survive and thrive in the face of war, poverty, hunger and disaster.
In 2024, more than a million like-minded individuals came together to make a difference in the lives of children. Their kindness and compassion changed the lives of children all over the world.

John, your support helps change the lives of children like Huma*.
After losing everything in the 2023 Turkiye-Syria earthquakes, Huma and her family were forced to flee Syria, struggling to survive in tents and camps.
Huma, born with albinism, has significant vision impairment. She was bullied, fell behind in school and became withdrawn. Our team recognized her needs and provided telescopic glasses, enabling her to read, write and connect with her peers. This marked a crucial step toward inclusion and self-reliance.

With glasses from Save the Children, Huma is more confident in her schoolwork and dreams of becoming an eye doctor.
In addition to the telescopic glasses, Huma’s family received winter clothing, specially designed kits to help children heal from trauma and cash assistance to help families afford rent, food and essentials.
Today, Huma’s confidence is growing, and she has big dreams for the future. “When I grow up, I’d like to be an eye doctor. Because [I like] helping people,” she says.
This is the power of donor support.
