WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, America First Legal (AFL), in partnership with the Founding Freedoms Law Center (FFLC), announced that the two organizations are defending the Loudoun County Public School students who were suspended and found guilty of “sexual harassment” and “sex-based discrimination” for expressing discomfort over a biological female entering the boys’ locker room.
At a press conference held outside Stone Bridge High School, AFL and FFLC attorneys, joined by the students’ family members, outlined forthcoming legal action to protect the boys’ academic records, challenge Loudoun County Public Schools’ unconstitutional overreach, and safeguard the rights of parents and students across Virginia.
“Once again, Loudoun County Public Schools shows its dogged determination to violate the rights of its students and maintain its firm grip on the title of ‘Most Notorious School District in America.’ America First Legal will not stand by and let this school district continue to intentionally bastardize and weaponize federal law to force its students to adopt its warped, illegal transgender policies. Those policies will soon be relegated to the dustbin of history, but as long as LCPS continues to use its students as guinea pigs in a soon-to-be-concluded political experiment, we will pursue everyone involved to the fullest extent of the law,” said Ian Prior, Senior Counsel at America First Legal.
AFL looks forward to partnering with FFLC to defend these students and hold Loudoun County Public Schools accountable for its unjust actions.
