Hello Dallas County Young Republicans!

Please join us on Tuesday, September 16th at 6:30 PM at The Granada Theater located at 3524 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75206 as we debate the Dallas County Young Democrats! We have rented out the ENTIRE venue just for this debate! For years, DYR members have expressed a desire for a debate with the Young Democrats, and we are incredibly excited to make this event a reality! THIS IS AN INTERACTIVE EVENT – WE WANT TO HEAR WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE BIG ISSUES. For our debate format, a few of our members have graciously volunteered to serve as panelists, along with panelists from Young Democrats, with yours truly acting as moderator, while we have a friendly, fun, interactive discussion covering immigration policy, foreign policy, the economy, 2026 midterm elections, 2028 presidential candidates, youth-oriented issues, and a host of other topics. We will use our panelists’ comments as a starting point to open things up to the audience and get some lively conversation started. This is more of
a debate/discussion, so I assure you that this will be very casual and fun. We expect all our audience members to be respectful, polite, and orderly during this debate – personal attacks, rudeness, combativeness, ugliness, etc. will NOT be tolerated. We will have a room- full of young people with diverse viewpoints, and we want to hear what you think about the major issues impacting our country and our generation. The Granada Theater is an iconic Dallas venue that’s perfectly designed for an event like this. This event is free and open to everyone, members or non-members, so please invite your friends! We want our members to have the opportunity to express their opinions in an interactive environment.

I’m excited to hear our members speak directly about what they think about different issues and engage in a friendly dialogue with the Young Democrats. We want this event to be the largest event in the history of DYR! We are expecting roughly 500 people to be in attendance. This is the perfect event to invite friends that have never attended DYR before – this will be a fun environment for spirited political debate with a range of opinions. Suggested attire for this event is business casual. Valet parking and self parking will be available, but spaces are very limited. We recommend using a ride-share service.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our Debate with Dallas County Young Democrats on Tuesday, September 16th, at The Granada Theater! Please invite your friends (members and non- members) for this fun social event! When you take ownership of DYR and invite your friends to events like these, you are contributing to the amazing grassroots organization that we are building. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your willingness to put yourself out there and invite your friends. They won’t be disappointed!
