We know, money is the name of the game. 💰💰💰 We live in a capitalist society and too often the only way to make our leaders or companies is to hit them where their pockets will hurt.
Unfortunately kids’ deaths, our blood, and our tears don’t affect them. If it did, we wouldn’t still have to be crying out for critical gun safety legislation.
That’s why we’re so proud of the Highland Park Peace Project and what they’re doing. In the aftermath of the horrific mass shooting in Highland Park on July 4, 2022, Highland Park Peace Project gun safety activists took hold of their frustration with the easy access to assault rifles and are targeting the supply chains of companies that produce the military-grade weapons.
Highland Park Peace Project has compiled a scorecard of companies that are “enablers” and “heroes.” Companies classified as “enablers” enable gun violence and should be avoided for alternatives.
Add your name to demand real solutions and real accountability. When thousands of us speak out together, we show leaders that we will not accept political theater in place of action.
