Trump is in the middle of an unprecedented power grab.

First: Trump declared there was a “public safety crisis” in Washington, D.C. – even though violent crime in the city is at a 30-year low.

Then: He deployed the National Guard in D.C. and took control of the D.C. police!

Now: Republican governors in red states are bending the knee to Trump and sending more National Guard troops to D.C.
