We’re reaching out because you’re one of our most reliable supporters, and we need to dig deep right now. Here’s why:

Around this time each year, our fundraising numbers usually take a dip — a dip we fully expect and plan for. Families have just wrapped up their summer vacations and, understandably, are thinking more about paying for school supplies than the next election.

But we want to be completely transparent: We never expected a fundraising dropoff like this.

The average number of donations we’re getting when we reach out to our supporters through email has been cut in half compared to last month.

Look, we don’t want to be one of those campaigns that scares you into donating. We still have some time to bounce back before our next fundraising deadline, so this isn’t the end of the world.

But it isn’t good. If this trend continues, National Republicans will have a field day — and that’s why we need your help.

Will you chip in $5, $25, or whatever you can to help us avoid a budget shortfall? With so much at stake in next year’s midterms, we can’t hand National Republicans any kind of advantage here in KS-03.
