We’re a week out from our annual summer gathering! I hope you can join us on Tuesday, August 26 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Truro Vineyards, 11 Shore Road, North Truro.

I’m thrilled to announce that Massachusetts Senate President Karen Spilka will be joining us for this special evening. Senate President Spilka has been a friend and mentor since I joined the Senate, and I’ve been so honored to be a member of her leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for constituents to engage directly with the Senate President and raise critical issues and priorities for Cape Cod & the Islands.

Together, we’ve delivered real results: critical action on housing; tens of millions of dollars in wastewater financing; transforming mental health care delivery; free community college and fare free RTA buses; safeguarding reproductive freedom and LGBTQ+ rights; and so much more. With threats at the national stage, optimistic leadership is needed now more than ever. And when re-election comes every two years, we cannot rest on our laurels.

I hope you’ll join me to raise a glass, reconnect with friends, meet Senate President Karen Spilka, and help sustain the work ahead.
