*Governor Orders Wyoming Flag be Flown at Half Staff at the Capitol and in Natrona County on Saturday, August 23*

 

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Governor Mark Gordon has ordered the Wyoming State Flag be flown at half staff at the Capitol in Cheyenne and in Natrona County from sunrise to sunset on* Saturday, August 23* in honor and memory of Gail Zimmerman. Mr. Zimmerman represented Natrona County in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1985-1988 and in the Wyoming Senate from 1989-1998, serving as Chairman of the Senate Education Committee from 1993-1998. He passed away July 30, 2025.

Please note that this notice is *only* for the *Wyoming State Flag* and only at two locations in the state - at the Capitol Building and in Natrona County. Other flags should remain at full-staff.
