Over 38 million Americans live with diabetes and nearly 98 million live with prediabetes. For many, access to care, prevention, and the hope for a cure could be at risk. |
The American Diabetes Association® (ADA) is fighting to keep vital federal programs across the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that are essential to America’s fight to end diabetes. Cuts to the federal budget would undermine the research, prevention, and infrastructure people with diabetes rely on. |
We cannot afford to lose ground now. |
|
|
The ADA is fighting to protect federal funding. With your help, we will continue to: |
- Push for a cure for those living with diabetes.
- Protect the National Diabetes Prevention Program, which has already helped millions prevent or delay type 2 diabetes.
- Keep America a global leader in research and innovation through vital funding at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) that drives the breakthroughs needed to stop this epidemic.

The ADA has always been a voice for people with diabetes—and we’ve seen real results. Thanks to our tireless advocacy and more than 400,000 dedicated volunteer Diabetes Advocates, we helped secure the historic $35 monthly insulin copay cap for Medicare beneficiaries—a life-changing win for thousands. |
But we can’t do it without you. |
|
|
Your gift powers our most critical work—from advocacy to community health initiatives and groundbreaking research that brings us closer to a cure. Together, we can defend progress, protect lives, and build a future free from diabetes. |

Thank you for standing with us when it matters most. |
With deep appreciation,
Lisa Murdock Chief Advocacy Officer American Diabetes Association
