Friend, it's been a difficult, painful time for our country, and if it's made one thing clear it's this: It matters who's in office.

This election is about so much more than just the White House. We need strong leaders at every level of government who will work with integrity to guide us through every challenge and to create the solutions Americans need -- not just today but also tomorrow, next month, and next year.

We need a new era of leaders who are focused on bringing us together rather than pushing us apart.

Mikie Sherrill is one of those leaders.

Mikie has a critical FEC fundraising deadline coming up, and I hope you'll join me in supporting her re-election campaign. If you are able, please make a contribution before the deadline.

A former Navy pilot, Mikie has dedicated her career to serving our country and her commitment to service shows up in everything she does in Congress. She's fighting to make health care more affordable and accessible, strengthen wages and our economy, and put money back into New Jerseyans' pockets.

We can't afford to lose Mikie's presence in the House, but that's exactly what Washington Republicans and outside groups want to happen. They've already spent tens of millions of dollars to defeat Democrats like Mikie and want to replace her with a corporate lobbyist, and a recent poll shows Republicans hold a slight lead in five critical New Jersey districts, including Mikie's. She has proven that she can win this district--now we have to help her hold it.

This isn't just about winning one election. It's about winning the era.
