A MAGA TV host stormed into our event and called me “a fake ghetto hood rat.” But here’s what happened instead: the crowd – our community – rose up and stood strong against this hate and division.
Here’s what I said: “This is part of the problem. I want y’all to be part of the solution. We’re going to show these people that ignorance will not win today.”
We will NOT let hate divide us. We will fight back against the lies and organize against the power grabs. MAGA is coming after me – after us – because they know our voices threaten their grip on power. That’s why they’re attacking me. That’s why I stood strong in the face of these nasty insults.
