As the People’s Lawyer, I will not tolerate the marketing of nicotine products to young people. That’s why I took JUUL and its former parent company Altria to court — and won a historic settlement to help repair the damage they caused.

Just this week, Minnesota received an additional $2.5 million payment from JUUL. In total, JUUL and Altria have now paid over $41 million to Minnesota — dollars that are already going to work protecting kids and cutting underage tobacco and nicotine use in our state.

It’s my job to stand up for Minnesotans when powerful corporations put profits before people. Wins like this don’t happen by accident — they happen because folks like you believe in justice, and you stand with me in this fight.

But the work isn’t done. Too many corporations still think they can get away with preying on our kids and our communities. I need your help to prove them wrong.
