August is Make-a-Will-Month!
Hello John,
As we continue to mark National Make-a-Will Month, I wanted to bring your attention to something WWF’s Chief Operating Officer Loren Mayor recently observed, when she said:
“So much of what we do at WWF is think about the future. We conserve nature now so that future generations can continue to benefit from all the services, joy, and protection it provides years into the future.”
In many ways, that’s the same idea behind making a will.
When you plan for the future, you can make an impact that safeguards all you deeply care about—from the rainforests and reefs to the people, pets, and valuables in your life.
Outside tools—such as FreeWill ([link removed])—can help you make or update your will for free. We recommend speaking with a financial or legal advisor for assistance in navigating any specific questions or complexities related to your assets, finances, or personal situation.
By creating your will and designating WWF in your documented wishes, you can support your loved ones along with a healthy future for people and nature for years to come. Your lasting legacy will conserve and restore biodiversity, the web that supports all life on Earth; reduce humanity's environmental footprint, and so much more.
If you’d like to learn more about WWF’s long-term vision, you can read Loren Mayor’s full LinkedIn post here ([link removed]).
You can make a lasting impact—For Nature, For People, Forever.
With gratitude,
Debra G. Kathman, JD
