Team,

Georgia Republicans are trying to pull off one of the largest voter purges in U.S. history — and Black Georgians are most at risk.

But voters who are wrongly on the purge list can still maintain their registration as long as they take action by TODAY.

Ahead of this deadline, we’ve raced to reach as many voters as possible with an easy-to-use lookup tool we created for them to check if they’re on the purge list and see how to stay on the rolls. From phone banks and text banks to radio ads and digital ads, we’ve gotten the word out about how Georgians can protect their voter registrations.

We’ve dug into the data as the GOP Secretary of State gears up to remove almost half a million voters from the rolls. We found that after excluding people who recently cast ballots in other states — who likely no longer live in Georgia — the remaining voters on the purge list are disproportionately Black.

Many are likely to still live in Georgia, many are likely to still be eligible to vote, and they’re on track to have their voter registrations canceled under this purge.

The new purge list — built on unreliable data that doesn’t give an accurate picture of who may still be eligible to vote — amounts to about 6% of all Georgia voters. To put that in context: the past two presidential elections in Georgia were decided by margins of about 2.2% and 0.2%.

By reaching out to Georgia voters who may be at risk of losing their vote, and by fighting year-round for equal access to the ballot box, we work to make sure voters can make their voices heard in free and fair elections. With advocates like you on this team, we’re able to create tools and run programs so voters can still use their power in our democracy.

But this work depends on robust grassroots support, which means we have to ask: With our democracy in grave danger, will you pitch in any amount to protect free and fair elections? [[link removed]]
