Hey there, Wes Moore here – Governor of Maryland.

I know we’re all busy, so I want to keep this brief and let you know what Democratic governors have been up to amidst the chaos and confusion happening in Washington. We’ve been:

🏭 Bringing jobs and economic investment to our states
📝 Ensuring Medicaid programs are more accessible
💊 Making prescription drugs more affordable
🩺 Protecting reproductive rights
🍽️ Expanding free meals for kids in school

We’re focused on real progress – putting the citizens of our states first and making life better for people, not harder.

But it’s clear the administration down in Washington doesn’t believe in that promise. From attacking federal public servants to raising costs for families with their tariffs, they’re not putting America first. They’re leaving Americans behind.

And while my fellow Democratic governors and I have rolled up our sleeves to stand up to Trump and fight back against the harm that Republicans are causing in our communities, make no mistake: it won’t be easy – and we can’t win without your help.
