The ever-worsening genocide underway in Palestine simply could not be happening without U.S. weapons, which the U.S. Congress continues to donate and ship at the expense of
U.S. taxpayers, in blatant violation of U.S. and international laws.
There is now a bill in the House that would
(redundantly but importantly) block weapons shipments. We've set up a
webpage that will email your representative to encourage them to sign on
if they haven't and thank them if they have. You can edit either
message to add your own words -- and it may work better if you do.

Our tax dollars should be used to compel
Israel to allow in food for starving people, not to send gifts of
deadly weapons of types that have already been documented as used in
horrific massacres in Gaza.
Our so-called representatives need to know that we are watching and remembering what they do, and what they do not do.

September 21 is the International Day of Peace,
first celebrated in 1982 and recognized annually by many nations and
organizations, including day-long pauses in wars that reveal how easy it
would be to have year-long or forever-long pauses in wars. This is a
good day on which to work for permanent peace and to remember the
victims of war.
