Need help with a federal agency?

Dear Neighbor,

Every day, my team of Constituent Advocates in Houston assist people across Texas’ Seventh Congressional District with matters before federal agencies, like obtaining benefits from Social Security, Medicare, and the VA, or resolving matters with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). I am proud to report to you that our team has successfully resolved more than 15,500 matters for residents of our district.

On that note, Team TX-07 Constituent Advocates will be on hand at the HOPE Clinic in Alief on Thursday, August 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to assist residents with matters before federal agencies.

Team TX-07 Constituent Advocates will also be available to help at the Bellaire City Library on Thursday, September 18 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

We are always glad to help by answering questions and helping solve problems. While we cannot guarantee a favorable outcome, we can promise you we will do our best to help you receive a fair and timely response.

Here are some of the things we have helped with in the past:

Helped reinstate Medicare benefits;
Helped resolve delays in USCIS case processing;
Helped obtain information regarding delayed tax returns and payments;
Helped locate lost and stolen mail;
Helped obtain Social Security retirement benefits; and
Helped expedite and renew passports.
