INSPIRING HOPE THROUGH TRANSFORMATION
"Camp helped encourage [my kids] to continue to do better and not feel alone—that they were not the only ones walking down this road.”—David
If you ask him today, David will say that God saved him by sending him to prison. His life was out of control. Try as he might, he just couldn't stop drinking.
INCARCERATION TORE DAVID'S FAMILY APART
The separation wasn't easy on David’s family. His wife and kids were living in a shelter and the kids couldn't visit him. All that kept David connected to his family during the three years he was in prison were the caring volunteers who reached out to them through Angel Tree®.

David didn't know where his children were living at the time, but Angel Tree found them. Because of Angel Tree volunteers, David's daughter Samatha received a game, a puzzle, and a teddy bear that Christmas. His son Josh got a toy dump truck.

But for both kids, the greatest gift was the knowledge that their dad still loved them and was thinking about them.
BIBLES ARE NEEDED NOW MORE THAN EVER
Prisons across the country are on lockdown due to COVID-19, and Bibles are one of the only ways to still get hope behind prison bars. And nothing provides hope like the living Word of God. The demand for Bibles is at an all-time high. Will you help us meet the need? Please give generously today and your gift will be doubled thanks to a matching grant!
